Work Station

Love my new Work Station. Manfrotto 131D side arm with a Tabelz laptop holder. Very handy for shooting in multiple rooms or anywhere on location.

Thank you for your Service!

Happy Veterans Day to everyone who has served our country. I especially want to extend an extra bit of thanks to Sfc. Michael Schiltz for his service and tremendous sacrifice.
You can read his story here: http://www.garysinisefoundation.org/sites/default/files/files/BIO_MichaelSchlitz.pdf
It was an honor to work with him and to photograph the beautiful new Smart Home that he and his mom received from the Gary Sinise foundation.

Row, Row, Row

Up at the crack of a very chilly Dawn this morning for a cover shoot. Unfortunately, I had to get in the water to protect this gorgeous boat that my neighbor Bob so generously let us use.
Melissa Smith is a real pro and did a great job!

Smoke on the Water

Still editing the Angels shoot. Can't wait to put it on the site. My assistant Paul did an excellent job enhancing the atmosphere. Which BTW smelt like Cotton Candy. Perfect Angel smell!

Directing Models

Directing Models to get precisely what you want can be very challenging, but sometimes it's a lot of fun! As you can see Gavin hit the mark.

Beyond the Call of Duty

My daughter Sadie was a real trooper in going the extra mile to assist me in a last minute photo shoot for Family Fun. We made some great images and Sadie was able to keep her Track & Field injury dry while she recovers hopefully in time for the Spring season.

Model Makes the Shot

It's always a thrill to walk in a store and see one of your images hanging there. This particular one reminded me of how much a model can make a shot. Brynn is a very cute and enthusiastic model who always brings great energy with her. I call her a "point and shoot" model because that's basically all you have to do!

How's your Winter?

Whew! This has been a rough winter for many of us. So I try to live by the old adage, when given lemons make lemonade. We'll we got a lot of snow so I decided to make a Snow Bride with the help of a great Hair & make up artist Deborah Engelsman. Thanks to my daughter Sadie for providing a look on how we did it.
